NetStumbler tool displays wireless access points, SSIDs, signal strength and channels. It also tell you whether WEP encryption is enabled or not. You can use the power of NetStumbler to accurately log the precise location of access points by connecting with GPS technology.

You can use NetStumbler to detect Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) using 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g.

NetStumbler can be used to verify that your network is set up as desired by you. You can find the locations with poor coverage in your WLAN and also detect other networks that may be causing interference on your network. NetStumbler also helps you detect the unauthorized (rogue) access points in your workplace.
